Total Feeze

I'm playing the Curious Household. And the game has not crashed... but it is unplayable. 

The game while unpaused is frozen and does nothing. I can't click. I can only move my mouse. When I click pause the screen will take a moment and then allow the game to run normally. I can interact with all functions as long as it is not in live mode. 

Which is a REAL bummer cause I've put some hard work into that save...
