I have 1, 2, and 3 on my computer and I have to say that after going back to 1 and 2, only my daughter plays 3. I missed the challenge of having to keep needs met. Also having a limited amount of time in the sims lifespan. Having to actually work to get the elixir was the best part of the game for me when it came out. Also with Freetime it gave alot of what I was looking for and more ways to build up those skills.
