Yes! I used to play it, I know I did, never as much as Sims 4 but I remember enjoying it. I've tried to go back to it 3 or 4 times in the past couple years but after Sims 4 I just can't have fun with SIms 2 anymore. THe UI is terrible, the art style is terrible, and the game play is boring for me, I hate the cut scenes... I lose interest so fast and just want to close it and get back to my sims 4 families haha
But...
I do think Sims 2 had the best animations between two sims. I LOVE the way the kids dance on parents feet and just in general the movements seem more natural and realistic to me. Sims 4, to me, is by far the superior game but Sims 2 easily beats it in animation, it's just not enough to make the game itself enjoyable for me.
