Having the same issue, and the only thing I can do is to force quit (I know) and DELETE the vacation destination. This forces my sim to go back home so I can play with her again. It's so frustrating.
oh I didn't think about that. This could have worked. But I got so frustrated because I was only able to close the game through task manager and requested refund 😔 If the patches that they are working on work, I would love to buy it again.
