Oh that is definitely it then.
I don't know how to explain it very well. I believe it is integrated but here is the thing.
Every videogame ever registers the not high end graphics card. The Intel one, but the intel one is only used when I set my performance to Balanced, or to Power Saver.
When I set it to high performance, the AMD radeon one is registered in windows, and I do get a hugeeeee frame boost and I usually play on higher or highest qualities (minus mmos and Dragon age inquistion) , but the game still says I'm using the Intel one. However if i use a screen sharing program like Join. me or tightvnc the other person will see it as black if im under high performance, and I have to use either balanced or power saver.
Also high performance ofc literally devours my laptop battery haha. But its not too much of a problem as I only use high perf for games and usually am plugged in during.
I'd say my graphics card is just a little above average. The main problem is after a while frames start pooping (2 - 3 hrs) and i have to restart game. Then it's completely fine. Its probably the laptop getting hot (though i do have a fan and the fan increases the time before frames poop) so I don't really know . .
All in all its wayy better at gaming then my all in one, but that one did gave me HQ sims 3 screenshots and didnt do the whole black screen thing. (until now, that I have fraps)
And yeah, I have all my stuff saved to an external drive in preparation of failing laptop! xD (: But hopefully doesn't fail anytime soon <3
as i dont have money to replace lol.
But once I have my own place i think I'll create a custom rig, but for now I'll just buy gaming laptops as I'm going to be dorming so yeah.
i dont think my roomates would appreciate me bringing my dream three monitor ultra super gaming rig setup lmfaoo!
