My current Sunset Valley save's family: Atreus, like the ancient Greek family in Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. However, their names are not in the generational or related order of those classics, just u...
Dardanus helped Hilda with her soccer-athletic while Helen gardened. They had time to devote to her skills with Homer away.
Their house had developed some more, especially the yard.
There were stairs down to a basement at the end of the carport, next to the hopscotch, which were semi-circled by a short hedge ... ooh what was down there?
Another hedge, taller, lined the intersecting street and partially between the little park, sheltering the pergola-spa-sauna-martial arts area, Stone's Throw Quick-gro, and soccer, and a bunch of trees obscured the fire-pit, miner, time-machine and portal. They kept the boxed hedge someone gifted them on the porch. The roof was too difficult to neaten up yet.
Dardanus didn’t end up with a Mad Scientist hairdo for his top Scientist career level. Although, it would be somewhat incorrect to call it that currently.
Luckily he had nice hair for his formal wear, which they wore for birthday parties because the growing up outfit was usually not as bad as the everyday. Hilda was going to grow up into a Teen.
She spun in the sparkles ...
In the company of some second generation guests, including Alto, Goth (Mortimer and new brother Jeb) and Andrews and a couple of their known parents: Yumi Sekemoto and Jamie Jolina.
She grew up looking mostly like Dardanus, but with different more bulgy and heavily-lidded eyes ... who in the world would her mother have been?
Dardanus wouldn’t tell.
The prom was scheduled very soon, so she got onto sussing out a partner straight away. Jeb was not interested.
Master Alto seemed nice and interested.
Chauncey Landgraab already had a partner, the Ursine daughter, and Hilda had coffee breath. Master Alto (whose name escapes at the moment), wondered about it, while he showed some interesting eyes, And started the chain of “Great Party” heading homes cues.
Hilda was very excited to go to prom but didn’t have a partner. The game paired her up with Kane Langeraak. We didn’t like him much, mostly his name. I should've fixed the tile on the fireplace. Hmm.
Within a couple of nights or maybe it was the same night, Homer grew up, graduated boarding school high school, Dribbledine Sports Academy, and came home.
The short snippet of his arrival and immediate courtship of Emma Hatch was posted on “What Happened in Your Game Today” a while ago. However, I will repeat it to begin the next installment.
Stay tuned for that.
To continue look for ... Book II (Second Generation).
