Precious Joy Forsythe Legacy Challenge

I can relate to that, I am doing the same thing with a save from 2015. I thought I would need to go back and reread their history, but I am finding its coming back to me as I go, and at the same time it feels like a similar challenge to playing a pre-made family, like from the world. So like, I'm allowing myself to take them in the direction I think now, putting my today-own spin on them, rather than try to capture exactly where I left them off. Because it would probably take a week like yours to reread, if not longer otherwise.

The Funeral Was Exhausting

Rob's funeral has come to an end. I am beyond exhausted. I can't sleep in our bed alone.

I am finally satisfied with my world, Alryne Valley, and have begun playing this save again. It took me about a week to reread all of the posts to familiarize myself with the Sims again.

I've never been able to get past generation 3.5 either. You did well. I think possibly after the first couple of generations get old and die, and there's a bunch of extended family by then, it gets tricky.

I am taking a break from playing this Legacy challenge. I want to take a few months to concentrate on populating my Alryne Valley Ultimate world. As soon as I finish with that, I will resume play. Hopefully, it won't be three months. 🙃

Final Goodbyes

Many friends and family came to pay their respects. It was a good gathering, though Daron was asked to leave. Brody and Brooklynn attended Prom and were crowned King and Queen. We lost Kyla as well.

A New Heir

Arabella Archer is gone. I feel my days are numbered. Rob and I are both 91. It's time we choose the heir to bring in the fourth generation. Rob and I talked for hours in bed last night and finally came to a decision.

So much happened. Glen got a promotion. We have two more teens here now. Bonnie lost her mother and she is heartbroken. Amanda is an elder. Brianna and Juan Berg are engaged. He is Glen's brother.

Brooklynn, Brody, and Brylee are children. Bonnie is close to mastering alchemy. Carson started a fire on his birthday. Brody, Brooklyn, and Daron are now teenagers.
