The title always makes me laugh, remembering Peter Sellers, in the movie 'Being There', say to Shirley MacLaine "I like to watch" ! :D Well I must admit I Do like watching my sims, just to see what they do! I usually only direct them to help fulfill wishes, although sometimes I admit to doing this creatively! haha
So my family, how did it begin? Starting in Moonlight Falls with Dante, Violet, and Argus, it was plain so see that Violet and Argus were getting to be an item. Dante was best friends with Belinda Crumplebottom, and they decided to move in together to my favorite house. (actually, the only house I like here!)
Belinda wanted a child with Dante, and it pained him to let her down as he felt he was too young, and he wanted a more traditional family when he matured. He loved Belinda as friend, and even though she was so kind and lovely personality, she was not 'the One' for him.
Belinda was swept off her feet by Don Lothario, they fell in love and married. When ever he would scare her she would retaliate by casting a spell on him! :D They enjoyed each other immensely! She has not had a child with Don so far though, she thinks an evil father would be, well, evil!
Moving Forward : Dante

The more he was with her, the more he became convinced she was the One! And so, he convinced her to marry him. I say 'convinced' because She was a bit afraid that he was a Vampire. But, she did love him and she did say Yes! Dante was in heaven! He never drank from her, he only drank plasma orange juice. Their marriage was loving and solid, and then Dante wanted a child.
Tulip always dreamed of babies, but would never get the wish for it. The Watcher (me) became convinced she was worried that Dante might bite the baby! :o One day as they were on a date, Dante started spamming me with wishes to turn Tulip! Even though I usually fulfill wishes, I kept clicking his wishes off. He Spammed me 7 times in half an hour! He wanted desperately to turn her! mmm maybe Dante knows something the Watcher does not! I decided to let him fulfill this wish! I wanted to know! For Science!
"Are you sure, my love?" And Dante slips her a Potent Cure Potion, in case she wants to change her mind. Oh I usually put the skin called glo on them from MTS and lighten them up, also I don't ever have a full moon so maybe that helps? Oh that is a good idea you have for elders! I really dislike how they make them look all crumply and like 100 yrs old one day after middle age! it is so depressing! I Like Youngman's and Rocky's fine lines and some gray in their hair, I think it looks so nice!

Yes I will see some sims who were human one day and then the next they will be a vampire! I have in the past reverted the changed, because I'm the Boss about that! :D But mostly because I want to know the circumstances, if they had asked or were forced, and WHO did it to them?! There is still so much I don't know! Do werewolves bite and turn others too? I also don't know if witches will cast the sunlight spell or whatever and kill a vampire? Just tons of stuff I don't know!
No I don't mind werewolves or witches, I am just not used to playing them much. My favorites are fairies and vampires for sure, though!
Yes well Rocky felt a bit ashamed because his bigger want was to please Sunny, which isn't being such a good friend to Youngman. But in the end it is a benefit for Youngman. Also I think like Sunny does, that Youngman will look so handsome as a Vampire! And there Does need to be more and more truly decent vampires in the town! I really dislike that Bill Misfit has that heart breaker LTW, that one makes me so mad!

I told Alexa but I want you to know too, that Jed is 17 and Nadia is 19, I know it doesn't make a diff in your feelings about the Teen/YA thing but I hope it makes it easier to bare,. Nadia is a homeless teen just aged up last week and put into the service maid pool, because somehow all there was as maids was Len! I don't know why there was only one guy maid? Maybe all the others ran away to become firefighters? LOL
Well it looked to me like Chad is attracted boys, but I haven't seen him at a teen party in a long time! He didn't even come to Daydreams teen party when Nikki, the other baby sitter with the braids Did come! so Chad has been hiding out from me and was only coming to Victors house to baby sit.
I hope he will come to the boys teen parties so we can find out more about him! I just super love Chad!!! I think he is soo cute! I was wondering if Fabian was going to fall for him but I guess Fabian had other ideas, though it said he was undecided, and Chad too is undecided. I am getting the sneaking suspicion that even though it Says they are undecided, they really do know! They just aren't telling us!
@Silverofdreams30 Hanae's looks is basically starting with the that woman in Riverside, last name is Jones that lives in the big Remington house. Then later on I made her over with a few tweaks to make her look more ''refreshed' then I saved her to the bin! I put that bin body over a not very good looking homeless sim, to become Hanae Pendragon. I had played the Jones woman until she was in her 90's and near death, her husband I think was named Aiden and he died from old age. She got the Youth LTR and then changed her name to Hanae, and lived another full life time with someone else (super foxy guy! ;) ) hehe I did like her sooo much!

I made Youngman be his first name because I never could remember his name, I think you will find him as Denis Younan, he has 3 teenaged daughters and a child son, and a wife Becky. I made them all over because the only one I thought looked good as is, was Youngman himself! (needed new hair, he is balding)
ergo_slum said she finds her Younan family lives in different houses in her town, the family is split up and some live with the Hopcrafts. In my game they are always in the homless section, (because I set immigration and story progression off, no one is allowed to move into town unless I want them to) so my kids meet them at school.
My sims will cook automatically either just for themselves if they are the only hungry one, or will cook a meal if they seem to notice others are hungry too. I make them serve everyone with that mod ''call to the meal'', then everyone can eat together. :)
Oh I love the natural cook trait, but I don't know if that makes them want to cook more than others? Maybe it does? But I love how it makes them not burn anything, for sure!!! :)
@DivaDoodle Sorry, I've been a bit distracted last few days but, I've been meaning to ask how do you make a YA a teen? Is it some glitch in your game and you are just going with it or did you make them YA and treating them as teens? Except their faces are very teen like. Or did you get the height mod? Also, how do you keep your vamps from turning so freaking gray? Mine do even with the cc skins I have! :confounded: In a few of my games where I actually have elders, I hate the elder stage so much I just extend the adult stage and give them some gray hairs and lines in their faces and call them an elder. No one dies in my games anyways. :lol:

yes I did love dressing up as a princess and also at the Renaissance Faire as a sultry tavern maid! LOL I'm glad you got to dress up too! that is a shame the schools got rid of the fun day! :( We still have a maypole day in the elementary schools where the kids dress up and dance around the May Pole , to celebrate the first day of May, then downtown on the first weekend there will be parades, and the kids can ride their bikes or march in the parades too! It is so cute!
Oh we never got any sweets either, unless my Dad went shopping and he would buy stuff that made my Mom so mad! Chili, Fritos, and Icecream and Ovalteen! :D My Mom didn't approve of Anything in a can and everything had to be fresh and cooked on top of the stove like the french do and hardly ever in the oven! We grew all our own veggies and salad stuff, and had so many fruit trees! It was such a great house!

Well, I never go after the speech and thought bubbles, I just ignore them because I think that they are just random generated gibberish. And the wishes are just something they wish because they have done something before. E.g: when a Sim draws his first picture it almost instantly gets a wish to draw a picture for 250 Simoloens. Or when they sculpt their first scuplture: almost immidiately they get the wish to make a clay sculpture. Or when they sit in the whirlpool and cuddle they get a wish to smooch, when they have done that one of them (hopefully both for the LTW points because that will be 1500) gets a wish to woohoo in the whirlpool. So I just think that the wishes and the thought and speech bubbles are coming from the AI, that they are an action-reaction scenario of the program. As I said I just wonder that they dream about their day and their hopes and dream while they are sleeping... maybe the game has some kind of memory store for such occasions. I just don´t know how the AI works, so both of our views can be correct, or none... :D
:D I´ve always been a wonder of modern medicine! I was vaccinated for ALL children diseases, I still have my round scars at the top of my arm/shoulder! (did you watch "The X-Files" btw? ;) ) But: although I was vaccined I got rubeola 3x! And no, there wasn´t ANY doubt that it was rubeola! Good that I was still very small so I could deal with it better than as when I´ve got it later in my life again. I think I have so many anti-genes against measles that they just have to take some blood examples of me and they would be able to generate a super measles vaccine... :D ;) But to my mum´s worry I´ve never got chicken pox, even when there were some outbreaks at kindergarten. And although we were all vaccined most of the kids got a mild form of it (which was intended, because the vaccine didn´t protect against the disease fully, the doctors wanted the kids to get it so they could build natural anti-genes as well. I don´t know how it worked in the U.S. though? But that is the story of my life, whenever I get a disease the docters always tell me that that wasn´t possible that I could get it, because I was vaccined or too young or just not in the random group and such... :s So I just said to myself that when I would get chicken pox then so it be. Who cares?
Aww, I can imagine liitle Diva and her "kid" in princess costumes begging for sweets! How many sweets did your kid get???? B) Be true, you´ve done it for the sweets and for being a princess once in your life (every year to Halloween)! I just went as a princess ones in my life at carnival (in Febuary there is a day called Rosenmontag (it´s on Monday) where there are big carnival parades in the cities and the weekend before there are many parties where you wear costumes and at Thursday before Rosenmontag (called Weiberfastnacht) you went to school or kindergarten in costumes and had a party there. It´s abolished now, this day of party in school, because "the kids have to learn in school". :s (What a bu...sh...it! Kids don´t learn much in school except from writing and maths) Awwww, I would have liked to go with your sons to Trick and Treat! It must have been so much fun! Especially when you lived in a neighborhood where all neighbors decorated their houses and had some sweets for the kids! What a great story to tell later! And when I think of all thew sweets I could have collected.... (my mum didn´t buy many sweets when I was young, I always had to visit some friends whos mums bought sweets and ate theirs there! It was just milk and vegetables and potatoes and bread in my childhood. So good I had many friends... o:)

@ergo_slum Yes that is my plan, to have Dante and the other vampires come to meetings, once there is a place big enough to hold them! I can't do it at this house or it will crash my laptop, with such a huge household! ? Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh! don't remind Him! I will have to move out a member of their household! for some reason Dante's house doesn't play well with more than 8, but this house here, has 14 I think and is still running very smoothly! I don't get it! But I LOVE it!!!
So for now, I want all these sims to get to know one another, and am waiting to see if 1)Hanae wants to get the baby wish. 2)If Rocky's teens will go to school? and 3) Just enjoying what they show me, while I get Rocky's house ready!
