The average teen is known to have the highest amount of disposable income. They don't have their own bills, own a mortgage or any of that. So, it's not that it's "maniacs who failed school", it's more "people who really enjoy the game and can spend their money as they please".
Well, this may be the case in America. When I want to go to the Cinema, I work hard for that money. I think 'Pocket Allowance' is the most IDIOTIC thing I have ever, ever heard. In he Real world, you don't get money for doing nothing (well, I could argue about that regards some political figures here *AHEM*) so why should you get paid from your parents for doing eff-all all day? Ridiculous.
Anyway, I think whoever is rewarding the money (sorry, I've only seen this thread now!) fair play
I find this comment a tad judgmental and dislike when people lump an entire group of people into 1 category. Every situation is different. I myself and several people I know had very large allowances growing up. We all had to work hard for are money doing chores and keeping our grades up etc. It taught us how to handle money and to be responsible. Maybe that is why today we are successful individuals and can afford to have a hobby like the sims and buy simpoints more often..
