It was that bargain price that snagged me, too, Dinahdoll!
It is as if we got FREE stuff from the Store. I know I would have eventually spent all $160. This way I got the same amount of Sim points for an excellent discount.
It is, no question, a lot of money to plunk down on entertainment, but I don't think the KIND of entertainment (a game) is relevant. I know plenty of people who get their entertainment from other expensive sources (and many of them don't leave anything tangible, only great memories). Even though Store stuff is virtual, it IS tangible in the sense that you can use what you bought any time you wish to.
If you pay money for, say, going out to see a movie, then you remember the movie, but you can't view it again any time you want unless you later also buy the DVD.
