Accidentally bought the wrong add-on and can’t return it.
I accidentally bought the gold edition of Dragon Valley, but I only have the standard edition of the game installed and it won’t let me uninstall the gold edition. Can anyone help?

hemotoxin93 The Gold edition of Dragon Valley includes some extra content and also some SimPoints for you to buy more extra content, if you want. (The idea is to buy the Renaissance Faire set, which is 1,710 points. But there are better ways to spend the points, including buying that set on a steep discount when it's on the Daily Deal.) It doesn't matter what version of the game itself is installed.
Having said that, you may not be able to use DV at all. It needs to be installed through the Sims 3 Store site, so it needs to show up on your account there. Registering the code within the EA App often uses up that code without applying it to your Store account.
