Ah, okay. Today I learned that bottles are considered seashells - as in "Turn in 7 seashells to the Science Lab". I had plenty of seashells, but I now have only one bottle left in my inventory, since the bottles were in front of most of them. :/ Am now up to nine bottles found, three of which were map pieces, but my computer just totally locked up - not sure if Sims related or not, so I'll leave it until tomorrow. Found a new message, though: 'I am stranded on a desert island with a box of black jelly beans. Decided I'd rather starve. Tell my wife I love her.'
