Small update: I coincidentally managed to acquire an old Windows Vista era laptop, and installed Basegame + Seasons on it. With graphics sliders to bottom low level, it does work "good enough". With a rather small 5 members household, I'm just waiting till the arrival of the fall festival to use the Waterballoon arena there... However, I don't have much spare time these days...
Edit: I just remembered I can remove specific seasons, so next time I play, I'll just skip right to the winter, "Winter is coming!" ;)
