Actually, when I did it, I had her dump them as soon as the relationship changed. She soon got the "Exploring her possibilities" reputation... It took her about two sim days, and her roommate (male) was doing the witches one at the same time.

In my case, it included the work from three or four saves, and, when I unlocked it, it was a "Mermaid" who cooked the final meal, and it was at best her tenth perfect meal. So that's why I know it did work cross saves, and "Occults'" progress do count (another of my key cooks was a vampire too). However, they have to be group meals, individual portions do not seem to count. However, you need to cook 200
perfect meals. In my key game, it took well over fourty meals before my cook managed to cook perfect meals on a regular basis, and I also saw fellow simmers having cook never achieving perfect meals because of low end cooking equipment or such... (Going for the cooking challenges and rewards helps a great deal, and the perfectionist trait is a bargain is, as always, a deal with the evil, as cooking high end meal already takes over a sim hour, so that extra cooking time really decrease the amount of meals cooked at the end of the day, especially if you go after safe bets for perfect quality, like "Lobster Termidor" with ingredients from the grocery store...)
