Achievement Thread - Guide on how to achieve them

I decided to start a new achievement thread, to help fellow simmers who might be needing it. At the moment, it still could be typos galore, though, so I will most likely have to edit it several times....

So I've tried it all: Clean folder each time, Sunset Valley with no occults, 1brand new sim, then another with 8 brand new sims. And nothing. I'm thinking it just might be possible this whole horoscope business isn't really true. Maybe my stars are just crossed right now and that's why it doesn't seem to want to work for me. Thanks for all your help anyway.
