At the very least she'll make friends easier with all the aquaintences she's meeting! :)
Edit: I don't think it's an issue with all badges, since I just got one the other day. It's actually what made me go looking for more I could attempt.
The Witch transformation kinda leaves me thinking, as all "occults" also have an extra line of code hidden, labelled as "supernatural yes" (That's what triggers the "scandals" or "reputations"). Could you try with a new normal sim from scratches?
