Try using the Nvidia Control Panel to enable the settings you want specifically for Sims 3. Right-click on the desktop and select the Control Panel, then choose Manage 3D Settings > Program settings, and choose Sims 3 from the list. (Use TS3.exe for an Origin install, or TS3W.exe (with the W) for a disc or Steam install.) Try these settings:
Antialiasing - FXAA: On
Antialiasing - Gamma correction: On
Antialiasing - Mode: Override any application setting
Antialiasing - Setting: 2x
Nvidia Inspector isn't being updated anymore, so I don't know how effective it is with current drivers and their settings.
