Any mod for stopping pixelated painting?

I'm sorry for asking this kind of question here but have no clue where to ask. Any mod for not painting pixelated painting from genius trait? I can't give up this trait but don't like to see this kind of painting either. Any mod will be welcomed. thanks.

This is a type of Still Life but don't understand why he has to paint even still life as pixelated.

  • @Mikezumi thanks so much! I was able to download it. :D You saved my sims 3 art life. :D

    I placed it in Mods folder and got endless loading screen. Looks like it's not compatible with the patch version 1.69 but thanks for suggestion though.:)

    @InfraGreen Thank you. Yeah I know some of the traits cause the different type of painting which I actually don't like. I better change his genius trait to other one. :blush: Oh gosh! My sim also has virtuoso..OMG.. It will be easier to change his hobby. No more painting skill for him.

    It's also caused by the Computer Whiz trait. Here's the full list of trait and painting style pairs which should go away with most painting replacement mods (I know of some that keep the filters? Or at least I feel like I imagined it) but is a good reference for anyone else confused or even actively seeking those styles. No judgment!

    @InfraGreen That was an interesting article, thanks for sharing the link to it. :) Many of the things were new to me, I'm definitely going to try them out to see what happens the next time I play.

    I use that mod and I am patched to 1.69 and I don't have any problems with it, so it should be compatible.

  • @Jeansoo I don't know why it wouldn't work for you. It's been many years since I looked at painting replacement mods but I remember there were a few. Good luck finding one that works for you.

    @Mikezumi

    Sorry but how long take time to load to your save file from main menu with this mod? I left only this mod in Mods folder, then I tested it took over 2 mins. If it is supposed to take time like this, then I didn't have a problem. But I felt like it was endless loading compared to before installing this. I will have a test one more time adding my other mods this time. :)

    - update -

    I think I was right. Before installing the painting mod, it usually takes about a min to load and I always got used to this fast loading speed. I added my whole other mods including the painting mod, I waited patiently, then it took totally 3 mins to load and that's why I felt like endless loading screen. The loading screen goes fast at the beginning until 2/3 filled up, then it stops for 2 mins more there like this.

  • @Jeansoo My game has always been slow to load but I have tons of CC so I never questioned it. It's not so long that it bothers me because I usually make myself a cup of tea while my save loads.

    Yeah if I start the painting again with him, I will start again. :blush: Thanks. I still have the mod in my document.:)
