Borked Portrait Panel Pic

I have had this happen before too, also before I started using mods and CC. Unfortunately don’t know what causes it, but it’s pretty harmless. If I remember correctly, it doesn’t affect your Sim’s actual appearance. Hope you can get to the bottom of this soon!

@TinySpaceFox Thanks :) It's good to know that you also experienced it before CC. Yes, Mikezumi looks normal in the save so I guess it's no big deal ... until it is ;)

I've had a few glitches like that that went away after adding a Mod that fixed it.I've had worse glitches like script errors for chess opponants that actually break sims and break the save though removing all chess tables in the game fixes that until other families begin to move in.

@TadOlson Did you have this particular glitch? If so, which mod fixed it?

It's that I've got the entire NRaas Mod collection installed and haven't seen it since I started using all of them.Second Image is one that helped and tuning files from ErrorTrap can also help with UI glitches.

@Mikezumi - I'm really sorry, but am I the only one who cannot see the difference between the two thumbnails? What is it we are supposed to be looking for?

But if something has indeed gone off-kilter with the current one, perhaps do something to trigger the creation of a new thumbnail like add an accessory (or take one away), maybe a nice hat, and then after a new one forms put things on the sim back the way they were?

@igazor You really can't see a difference? (hmmmm ... wonders if Igazor has Prosopagnosia ;) ).
Mikezumi's face has radically changed. The eyes are larger and droop downwards and other small differences which give my SS a dopey look (not that she's a beauty, but she's me ;) and I don't like what I am seeing in the glitched portrait).

I'll be the first to admit that my vision is horrible and never has been totally correctable with everyday eyeglasses (soft contacts are worse and I'm not wearing both unless I have to, I can't tolerate hard contacts anymore). Let's remember that I'm the one who claimed to keep trying to put a leash on his sims' toddlers and take them to the park to play fetch while reading stories to their puppies at bedtime. Okay not really, it was a couple of strange looking dogs that I mistook for cats back then. But I think that still falls a bit short of needing to be diagnosed with a cognitive disorder. ;)

An MC Reset on your sim might also trigger a redone thumbnail, but that's a bit more intrusive to gameplay than trying a new outfit or something that appears above the neckline on those thumbnails.

@igazor Sorry about your eyesight :( I think I can identify as I get older and my vision fails. The cognitive disorder was totally a joke. I love learning new words and I saw a girl with this disorder on TV the other day :p
I try to avoid MC resets unless I can't so the new outfit is worth a shot. It doesn't seem to affect my save (although I am only just starting my third sim week) and Mikezumi looks fine in-game so if that doesn't work I will live with it. It's just a short term save while I test Roaring Heights and Grandpa's Grove.
