@simgeek79 and @LadybugLeslie Thanks you sharing how you deal with MMAO. It's good to know I'm not the only one who thinks MMAO isn't such a good way to complete some sets. What I was trying to reconcile was the 3rd "rule" given in the Current DD thread about CYS:
3) Always buy an item with more than a 10% discount, even if the set is going to go on sale later for a better discount.
I have totaled up individual item costs in sets and worked out a few ways to complete these sets, and I really don't think it's always the best thing to buy items by themselves ahead of a big sale. But who knows; I'm not too savvy about aggrandizing or diminishing returns!
