@Karritz - That's just it, Maria won't let her mom interact with her at all. I don't know how to build a relationship with such a huge obstacle in the way. I am glad to know that this is something in the game, that others have dealt with. Sim behaviors and 'emotions' can run very deep at times, I guess this is just one of those times.
