Oh, wow, this is amazing! And to think that so many of us went through this process "the hard way!" Right, Jodi? And I say that knowing that I had it much easier than Jodi and the other trailblazers.
When I think of all the additional tabs I created in my DD spreadsheet to do similar work, I wish I'd not deleted it after I owned the store. I could have shared it with you @Merelhyn once I'd known you were building this. More accurately, I deleted each set as I bought it, moving on to the next. Because it started to look like this!!
But, also, looking at all the purchases laid out on a single list amazes me the way looking at my store downloads folder does. I can't believe I actually tracked each item; set alarms to wake up at night; stepped outside during family events; all to achieve the goal of owning everything that EA had created for my Sims.
And, sadly, I didn't find the DD thread until well into my process. At first, I was blindly waiting for specific sets to see if they came up on the screen without knowing there was a rotation. But, once I did, not only did it give me more bang for my buck, but the social connections that I found there added a whole new dimension to my Simming that has lasted for years and is still active today.
Anyway, @Merelhyn, kudos for an amazing job well done. It is truly unfortunate that the ads never returned, but at least those who are spending real funds on their store content will have a clear path toward reaching their goals with the fewest SP possible.
