It appears that the virus program could be blocking Sims 3. It's not fair, and my laptop meets the requirements. The download keeps failing, and at one point, Origin forced me to close it. What's going on?

- I realize you have marked this thread for closure, but just want to add that you may wish to discuss alternatives to McAffee with your cousin. It is generally considered to be a horrible, overly intrusive, and not very easy security system to work with. Most users I know who have it do so because a trial version or a free first year subscription came with their computers. I would never recommend it.
- I've tried a workaround and now Sims 3 is installed.
- You might need to ask someone at mcafee.
- I didn't even buy the program, it has been on my laptop. I don't want to ask.
Also, next month when I get home from vacation, I might have my cousin look at it. He's good with computers.
