CYS for venues?

Ok so I got the information elsewhere but I add it here if someone is also wondering.

Venues don't have CYS activated, but if the venue is part of a compilation then the items count for the CYS of the compilation.

So it's:
* Le Cinema Plumbob // March 2013 Compilation
* Regency Arcade // Go All In Compilation or October 2011
* Stone's Throw Greenhouse // Best of 2012
* The Lucky Simoleon Casino // Up the Ante

If you already own a big part of these compilations and want them it may be cheaper to buy only part of the venues. But three of these venues are on the DD for a very reduced price so take care with your calculations!

No and it states right on the page that the set is not available for CYS at the moment.

But if the venue comes in a compilation set such as the "Best of 2012 Compilation" set, then the CYS will work with the compilation.

I had at least 1 maybe 2 of the sets from the compilation when I had gotten the Best of 2012 for free.

@lisasc360 from what I see, all sets for which I don't have any item right now are marked with "This set is not available for Complete Your Set at the moment", whether they will be if I have some items or not is not specified.

I know some sets (Safari comes to mind) don't have CYS (but compilations they belongs too have) but they are not marked differently on the store. You have to rely on the community knowledge…

My goal is at term to work to Best of 2012, but it will probably takes a long time. The cheapest way would probably be for me to buy the whole venue on the DD (if my sister gift me points to do that). In the meantime I really love the SwiftGro Gardening Station (which is on sales) and I don't know if it's a good idea to have it separately or not. If it counts for CYS, that's great for me on the DD. If it doesn't, then it's a waste of precious points… And the store doesn't say.

@Merelhyn, like I stated in the DD thread, I got the Best of 2012 free by owning the More Magic Set and the Stones Throw Greenhouse.
I've been tempted for months to buy the growing station on its eternal sale but just didn't want to think I would waste those points when I eventually bought the green house, so I held off buying it. I don't know if the growing station would count toward the 2012 compilation or not, but just didn't feel like taking the chance. I know that doesn't help with your question, but just thought I'd add my 2 cents. :)

@funkeeferret yes, I understand. I have the Tepanyaki Grill (thank you again @creativity_rulez !) so that means I should be able to have all Itadakimasu! Japanese Dining on the DD in a few months. That and the Stone's Throw Greenhouse would be the cheaper way to have Best of 2012 if this venue doesn't have CYS. But if it has CYS, I would be better of buying first the SwiftGro on sales then the venue…
