Hmm, well, I don't have Awesome Mod, but if you are unable to fix it yourself, you could try going to Sublime Sims. saraswati and Skadi are very nice, use AM themselves and will do their best to help you.

You will have to register on their forum to post your question.
Barring that, you will have to do a MANUAL uninstall and then reinstall your game. Make sure you do the manual uninstall, otherwise traces of the mod could be left behind and you will have the same problem. Oh, and you will not be able to keep your save games, as they have been saved with the mod. You should always back up your save files before installing ANY mod, just in case this happens.
