Do gems/metals from EPs show up in other worlds?

I have a sim in Riverview who's collecting all metals and gems and I was wondering if gems/metals from expansion packs will show up in worlds that didn't come with that pack. For example; Late Night a...

The gems and metals from LN and WA do not show up in any other worlds. But the ones from other packs, like Ambitions and SN do.
