I haven't had any real long term breaks from playing, except when I have been working on a CAW project, as I am now, or when my computer was being repaired or upgraded. While waiting to get my computer back, I have always played on my laptop, with the intention to return to the save I had to leave. Each time, it has been hard to get back to the save I left, and more often than not, I just start over, sometimes with the same household, but sometimes with a totally new one. I do have all my old, unfinished saves saved on my computer and a removable hard drive, but if I ever do revisit any of them, it will more likely be by starting them over, probably in the world I'm working on right now. I'll probably give them CAS makeovers first though, as I'm much better at making distinctive looking sims than I was way back in the beginning.
