- Sometimes I peek :p I like long lifespans but sometimes, my curiousity gets the better of me and then I must look!
- quixotictiger7 years agoNew SpectatorI peek. Always. And usually immediately after birth, lol.
- lanlynk7 years agoLegend@MKSizzle I almost never age my sims up in CAS to see what they look like.
- It makes it more exciting when they age up to wait! Besides, I never change a sim’s features since I don’t care much about appearances.
- lowpolygal7 years agoSeasoned AceI do check them, but it's usually townies' offspring and I only do it when I'm curious of how the baby will turn out given the genetics of the parents. For example in my lepacy save, Connor Frio got together with Holly Alto, first time seeing that pairing and I was really excited about their babies because them both are so cute... I was so disappointed when I saw they mostly had Holly clones... :disappointed:
I also do it when I know the parents genetics could go bad together, like too low nose with a too high mouth or when they have the profile depth slider or the under chin depth slider too high (or low I don't remember) and the kids turn out with their tongues permanently out, like this:

Old pic, but the tongue is there... I always fix that, though I believe it happens mostly in Bridgeport kids and it goes away when they grow up... but it looks so weird I can't! :confounded: - Cororon7 years agoRising TravelerI took a peek once, long ago, and decided to never do that again.
- I like surprises! Often, the 'not so cute' becomes the lovely one..at least in my game.. :)

Too true, when I saw Miles as a toddler/child I was hoping he would turn out even semi normal...

but he grows up to this...untouched, no facial tweaks.

- I almost never peek but I did last night.
There was a glitch in my game. Kaitlyn must have been pregnant when she traveled because when she and Johan got back from China they had a child waiting for them in the house. There was no birth, baby stage or toddler stage just instant kid. I decided to go back to a save prior to traveling but was curious to see how Sam would have turned out. Now in the game she is pregnant. I wonder if the baby will be the same.
In the past when I played a legacy according to the rules I couldn't use plastic surgery changes and since I always made the eldest the heir there was no need to look ahead. Now I can always change them when they become a young adult so I usually wait.
