I would prefer it in disk form if they do...
I'm old school and like my hard copies because you can't always rely on internet downloads... - I've already said this once (a long time ago), but I think the only time they would give this away for free is when it's in a "if your computer was made in the last 10 years it can run it" situation, but since that's highly unlikely to happen, maybe at the end of the sims franchise. I mean, if they give people all EPs, including Pets and Seasons, people WILL attempt to play on it even if they have a potato laptop. That could result in a lot of fried computers and laptops and with that a lot of angry players which means less money for EA, which is bad for them.
- Rflong7Rising VanguardIf they did it wouldn't have the Store. TS2 UC doesn't have the Store. . . Nor any of the Free pre-order stuff or the free stuff from the site (Maxoid Monkey's). :(
And I don't know... what EA gives comes with strings. Some strings that have mean little hooks on them. :cookie: - Yup....like requiring origin and being online to play the game and not really owning the game, cause you are only buying the rights to play it for however long or short they decide to support it.
- graceymanorsRising HotshotI still use the sims 3 store.I always fear one day to login and find everything gone.I have at least a $1000 worth of content on there and no where to store so much in backup.

Technically, we don't own the game, even if we have it on a disc. We own a licence to use it. Therefore it is up to EA what they do with it. Now don't get me wrong I don't like Origin and there's nothing they can do to force me on patch 1.69, but as someone who spent to better part of the day studying stuff like this...you're wrong.- Number one I didn't say we owned the game. I do own my disks and no they cannot force me to play online as long as my disk tray and disks work. I won't be forced to 1.69 either. I'll go back to playing other games that don't require an internet connection. I have an extensive collection of fun games that don't require the internet to play.

Nobody even uses sims3store anyway to be honest. I even did the maths and worked out that it *might* happen in 4 years (10 years after release, like ts2 last year)
how do you know that?
the sims 3 store as always seemed popular to me.
also people use it for gifting and lottery s and contests as well as personally use!
ive seen enough sims and lots on the exchange full of store content.- I wouldn't want them to remove TS3 content as i still have 3 ep's to buy (UL, Gen and ITF). Buying one of them would be nice in the future but i bought simpoints for Midnight Hollow Gold and Bohemian Garden. I need a cure to my store addiction.

And in June 2018 I still use the store!
