- Or, if it won't increase the quality of the plant itself, at least increase the quality of the produce on that particular growing cycle, speed up the growing cycle of the plant (moving it along to harvest faster) or extend the life of the plant. SOMETHING.
- I found this on another forum.. thought it might help.
Well according to this site http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/skills/gardening/perfect-plants.php
it does this:
If your Sim has the Green Thumb trait, they can talk to plants to increase the quality of the harvested produce by one level. It will also by default give one more quality level. Super Green Thumbs (a Lifetime Reward) will bestow one quality level to the plant when it's first planted.
I don't know if its true but it may be worth lookin' into. :) - KatAnubis15 years agoSeasoned AceI've never noticed that the "talk to plants" improves the quality or quantity of any harvest. It only seems to make the Sim happier (more social, I guess.)
- I've noticed that the apple tree that I make my gardner talk to when she's lonely has lived a lot longer than all the other plants I've planted. I think that might be what it does.
- I did see a plant grow faster than another, sprouted the same night into a full bush, after my sim talked to it and another plant was ready to evolve sooner than others. It also raised the sims gardening skill.

Evolving only exists in Sims 4. This is the Sims 3 forum. Just FYI. - EA_Joz6 years ago
