kimhunt1973 Please test in a new save just to make sure the problem isn't your existing save.
If the new save is affected, uninstall Lucky Palms, make sure the Lucky Palms.world file is gone from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > InstalledWorlds, and rename this Sims 3 folder so the game doesn't recognize it. Open the launcher to create a new folder and download a fresh copy of LP. But before installing it, move the ccmerged.package file from DCBackup inside the old Sims 3 folder into DCBackup inside the new Sims 3 folder. (If there's already a ccmerged in the new folder, delete it.)
Install LP, load a save in the new folder, and test the content. If it works, quit the game and move ccmerged back to DCBackup inside the old Sims 3 folder, and move the new Lucky Palms.world file to InstalledWorlds in the old Sims 3 folder as well. Additionally, you'll need the file labeled dcdb0.ebc from inside DCCache in the new folder. However, you will need to renumber it (from its current 0) so that its number is one higher than the highest-numbered .ebc file inside DCCache in your old folder. You can ignore the .dbc files for this purpose, as these contain custom content installed through the launcher, not Store stuff.
As for Answers HQ, this site is the new version but also includes the engagement side of things that used to happen on a variety of single-game forums, for example forums.thesims.com.
