Game update server missing in Launcher

I have searched all over the forums and still no answer. I am connected to the internet but when I click on the Game Updates in the Launcher I get an error message "cant find server \"sims3web02.sig.max.ad.ea.com\" ". I was wondering if anyone knows how i can fix this or where can I look to find the correct server. Any help would be so great!!!!!
