my issues are the same as the poster above....and I have Riverview installed. Not sure what the deal is. :(
I had that problem as well and I have all EPs installed and am fully patched. I eventually found the problem wasn't with me but with the exchange. If a sims3pack contains custom content and if the downloader uses
save file to download the file the custom content can become corrupted during the download process. Installing the file will give the message that you are seeing.
There are two ways around this problem.
1) Use the
add to game button to download the file.
or
2) If you can't use
add to game use Custard to open the sims3pack and delete everything except for the first 2 items (the world and the thumbanil).
I used the second method because I couldn't use add to game at the time (there where only about 3 cc file iirc) to get the world installed successfully. It was worth the effort, it's a beautiful world.
