Okay~ not a huge world with all the Expansions but ...

A Base Game flat world. A place to add lots and build as this series goes on...
A gorgeous world to use as a base for Expansions. This world has lots of room to keep adding expansions but it's made flat primarily for building, too. Mountain views, Marshy land, Country areas up on the hill, and a large Beach... this base game neighborhood is wonderful with its many areas. Okay- if anyone wants to mess around with the CAW to make their own or use it for their game world (please don't upload to the Exchange) then here are the CAW files.
It still needs a lot of work. :D

Not to mention that the annoying "sinking" lot thing introduced with AMB still happens on occasions, and I find it happens to me more with lots that are not built on perfectly flat ground. I hate having to dump a lovely lot that I like because the land is all sunken and uneven.
There is a way to fix it with of course, but it's a pain.

I'll be very much looking forward to this one. Are you leaving it totally empty, or just adding RH's to it ?

Rflong I mentioned my play session in here in the WE thread, as I first couldn't find this thread.But in short no problems at all. Love it!!!

This is a lovely world. I added the military base , the fire station, the science lab, the dog and cat park and some clubs of various types, also the laundromat. Put in a bunch of houses in various price ranges, too . I put my siblings in DM's BoomerSooner III which is perfect for them. Played for 3 or 4 sim days. No routing problems. Saw a deer on the second day. Only 1 EA sim has moved in so far, but when my sims go to the different clubs there are sims in them and they are meeting people at their various jobs. I noticed that that long street that starts off from the stadium doesn't seem to have a name. There are a couple of streets in the town that also seem to be nameless. Are there supposed to be birds, or insects or stray cats and dogs running around because I haven't seen any? I am a little confused since I did see the deer running around. Hope to be able to play some more tomorrow. :D

Hi Rflong, I just dl'ed Glenvale County Test C, but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

I had intended to dl the Test A to help test but a funny thing happened on the way to mediafire. I allowed a popup that I shouldn't have and spent a couple of days trying to get rid of it. :roll: Finally had to do a restore and now everything's as it should be...lesson, pay attention to what you're doing. :oops:

Anyhow, sounds like everyone who's testing is having great fun. I plan on playing all afternoon, with placing and decorating. Thanks again. :D

Lovely ! I like flat worlds, as I almost always build lots on flat ground as well, and let downloaders sculpt the land themselves if they want hills and stuff.

Im hoping to use this as my Build world. The other one I had was just the CAW map. Never did anything to it. :lol:

So many people ask for simple, large flat worlds that doing this type of world really is a novel idea! :D

I really like the barely visible streams of water flowing down the side of the mountain down to the waterfall ... beautiful & such a nice touch.

I thought it would be nice empty and with lots. I was thinking of all EA Community lots, changed a little of course... not that I'm running out of lot ideas. *crossing fingers behind back* :lol:
