The GeForce MX150 is a rename (or just a different name) for a GT 1030. This is a new but lower end card and yes, arguably equivalent to a GT 940 or 940M. None of them are good choices for running the entire game with all EPs. These cards don't have the throughput (bandwidth, if you will) required for graphically intense games and will tend to choke up on things eventually, more so for some players than others.
In the 1000 series, we generally say that the GTX 1050 and higher would be where the entire game can be carried.
