- @AnkieAC wow thanks so much! I'll check it out. I hope It works!
- @AnkieAC - You can post links while you still have New Member status, you just have to break them up a bit so that the forum system doesn't see them as links. For example, use h.t.t.p.s. instead of https as a prefix.
- AmphorasimsNew SpectatorThis is the slider that I’ve been meaning to find for forever. A lot of my sims have that saggy part underneath their jaw and it’s been bothering me for years!
This thread has made me happy because I can finally rectify the prevalent issue of saggy jawlines in my game :D - Between both comments, this thread is apparently Fate.
- Does anyone know if this slider works in real life? Just... asking for a friend.
- @kateness If that's the case, I am hoping I can use ALL of the sliders LMAO. I have some adjustments of my own I need to make...
- If you have the current version of MC installed, the setting is NRaas > MC > Settings > CAS > Max Sliders > (the default is already 100). That number can be increased, I use 250 myself, but over a certain impossible for us define point the number will be too large for MC to recognize and won't be used.
This setting, like all other MC CAS settings, only applies to instances of CAS that called upon by a MC command. If you want them extended to game commands like CAH and testingcheatsenabled CAS, then the MC Integration add-on module is required. Otherwise EA's version of CAS is used and it doesn't know anything about MC settings. To tell which version of CAS you are seeing, right-click on the "..." button in the lower left corner where one usually goes to save, exit, and get to game options. If you are in MC CAS then MC options will pop up. If you are in EA's version, then nothing happens on the right-click.
Even with MC and MC Integration, it is not a good idea to jump into CAH or CAS before a game is fully started and the game clock is moving forward as the mods and their settings will not yet have had a chance to load and you will be back in EA's version again without the increased slider allowance.
If you are using CmarNYC's XCAS (a core mod) as well as MC, there will be a potential conflict unless both mods are set to exactly the same allowable slider number. XCAS is set by way of an additional tuning file. - No, that's a mild coding glitch showing the choices from CAH in the wrong place. If you "X" out then your just made changes in that CAS session on already existing sims will not be saved, but no one will get deleted.
- If you didn't have Integration prior and/or were somehow in EA's version of CAS, then it doesn't take much to land in slider overload. Each category (head, eyes, ears, etc.) maxes out at I think it's 25 (this might be outdated) but they all have different numbers of EA sliders to begin with. Some of them only need 2 additional sliders over EA's to do this. Once maxed out, all sliders across the board including EA's can be prone to malfunction.
If the issues persist in MC's version of CAS, and you have the max limit set high enough (try 250 if 100 isn't cutting it), then again some of your sliders could be conflicting with each other. The only way to determine that is to try different combinations of sliders until you see which ones just break everything when used together. I would always suspect older ones first, if that's any help. - @AnkieAC so I installed the slider but it is not working at all. Not to mention a few other sliders stopped working. Not sure what is going on but I am pretty disappointed. Am I doing something wrong here?
@igazor Perhaps you can help me out here, actually. I read that you need to used MC to increase the available sliders but I am not sure exactly how to do that. Can I get some sort of step by step directions for this?
