Horse Racing Legacy Challenge
Challenge Plot:
Your grandfather, a man with a passion for horse racing, has recently passed away. In his will he left you an empty property, $50,000 and a foal. This little foal has potential to be a wonderful racehorse, but not without hard work. Your grandfather also left you with instructions to train up your foal and make it into a champion to start a line of successful racehorses. Will you succeed?
How to Begin:
- Create 1 YA Sim and either create a foal or create a mare to breed
- If you choose to breed a horse, the mare must be removed from the household once the foal is born.
- Place the sim and foal or mare onto a 64x64 empty lot.
- Give your sim $50,000 to start with. This is the inheritance from your grandfather.
- Your starting money can be used however you wish, but be aware that the only can make money from this point onwards is through your horse. Remember to keep it fed and healthy!
Goal:
To reach the tenth generation of racehorses and earn at least $100,000 by racing your horses. Your sim may not survive through ten generations, so it is advised that your find them a partner to pass on the torch and continue the horse breeding.
Rules:
- The only cheats permitted are FamilyFunds at the very beginning of the game to set your account at $50,000 and ResetSim in the event that your sim gets stuck
- You must live on a 64x64 lot and build everything from scratch
- Your sim is not allowed to have a job. That takes time away from training and racing!
- The first foal born from your current horse is the heir. That horse is to be trained and raced. Other foals may be born, but they are to be sold and are not allowed to have any foals in your household
- Your sim must have the horse lover trait and jockey lifetime wish. Everything else is up to you!
- By the end of the challenge, you should have a complete stable, a tenth generation horse and over 100,000 simoleons.
- Have Fun!
Scoring:
+ 10 for every racing level achieved with the first horse and heirs
+ 10 for every heir born
+ 50 for gen 10 achieved
+ 10 for every $10,000 earned
+ 10 for every 10 races won
-50 for every horse death (instant loss if heir dies)
-20 for every cheat used that isn't allowed
