How do I make my sims WISH to have a kid?

I have a couple who just moved in together, and I want them to have kids when they wish to. But they never wish for it, and they even have the "family oriented"-trait. I also made a baby-room, with toys and crib and all, but it takes forever for them to wish for kids..
So I was wondering, if anyone knows, how to make them wish for it? How can I trigger them to want kids? :)

    No, they're not married, and I don't really want them to get married either:P Before, when they had just moved in together, they did wish for it ones, at least one of them, but they were too busy working and making money to live at that time. So I just ignored it. Now I want it back:(

    How old are they? Sometimes they won't get the wish until they are Adult. But I don't think I have ever seen a sim get the wish for kids when not married though..

    This is so weird cause, My YA always wish to have babies (They have the family trait) and I mean, It just gets annoying cause they want more, more and more babies.

    Well, the thing is, they've had the wish before, even if they're not married. I didn't "promise" it either, and they are young adults, soon to be adults.

    I'm gonna go to the store with one of them and buy children's books, and visit some neighbours with kids. Maybe that will get them want a cute gurgly baby ;)

    You can't really make them wish to have one.. but once you get pregnant you may have some child related wishs :)

    Yeah if you can't make it happen, you will get wish points when you're pregnant and have wishes about the baby(s) for both sims.

    you could try just laying on the romance. once both sims are in the mood for love, and maybe even after woohoing a few times, the idea may come to one of them
