How to Control Outcome of Human/Supernatural Offspring?

A bit of a random question, but does anyone know if there's any way to make sure that the child of a human/supernatural couple will definitely be human? Or definitely be occult? I have a vampire/human couple I'm playing right now as part of my legacy, and I would much rather their children be human. I have Story Progression and Master Controller mods installed.

Thanks in advance!

  • MC gives the option to set occult status on a sim. I'm not sure where exactly to find the command, as I haven't played with Supernatural, but I've definitely seen the menu; I also have MC cheats, so that add-on may be necessary.

@igazor has mentioned recently that the MC "play with genetics" option gives you a chance to reroll the outcome for an existing offspring as many times as you want. This is similar to the process you can use to generate a child when you're creating a family, although it apparently doesn't change traits. I don't know if it can affect the occult status of the kid as well.

If these options don't work, you can use sim>basic>baby>reroll genetic seed value on the mother before the baby is born, then temporarily age up in CAS to see how the child turned out. You can quit without saving if you don't get what you want and run the reroll command as many times as you like.
  • Under EA standard, if one parent is human and the other has one occult state, there is a 50% chance that each baby will inherit that one occult state. SP's genetics, if used, doesn't really change that but it does add the possibility of inheriting occult states from the grandparents if they are in the world (living or dead) at the time of birth as well as the possibility of inheriting more than one thus forming hybrids.

I think what you really want to do is just use MC to remove any occult states from the babies as they are born.

NRaas > MC > (Sim) > Intermediate > Occult: Remove
    (MC Cheats add-on module required)

This cannot really be arranged prior to birth because these things are not finalized until the baby is actually born.
