another way to make it 24-bit is to use paint.net or pixelformer. both are free. for pixelformer when you paste you image in there is a box in the top right. right click on your image there and select properties then rgb 24-bit. paint.net i heard someone say that when you save as a .png it asks you what you want it saved as.
