So as we all know this game is a mess to play on newer hardware without GPU fixes, Nraas mods and such. And you've probably seen that this game tends to run better on older hardware for some reason. ...

Unparking CPU cores isn't necessary in Windows 10. If you want to make sure the system is devoting all necessary resources to Sims 3, set Windows to run TS3.exe (Origin) or TS3W.exe (disc or Steam) in high-performance mode.

Sims 3 also uses a maximum of two CPU cores, not three.
