I've always played super long games. Like my lifespan has always been super long, I think the shortest its ever been is like 180 days for a young adult for example. I'm going to try something new.....

It's worth the experiment. If you don't like it you can always change them back.
I play on maximum life because I have so many sims and I like to have ageing on but still age them up when I think they are ready regardless of the lifespan set.
