Is the exchange safe? What about The Sims Resource? What are some good cc sites?

So I heard that the Sims 3 exchange is the worst place to download from. But I really like the clothes,hair,etc.I don't download lots or Sims, because that is bad and i know that. But how bout the clo...

i would never trust sims resource honestly i never used cc for sims 2 but for sims 3 i would certainly not use tsr mod the sims and someone has been posting links about different sites
