- karritzSeasoned RookieDo you have Edge Scrolling turned on in Options | General Settings? It is off by default. I remember when I first got the game I struggled for ages before I found that setting and it changed things dramatically for me.
- There is also CTRL + W, A, S, D keyboard shortcuts to turn the camera which is mentioned in the tooltip in The Sims Medieval, but I don't think it is mentioned with The Sims 3 despite the fact that it also exists for TS3. Maybe they mention it on one of the lessons or something. I use WASD to move the camera and press CTRL whenever I want to turn it around. I never used TS4 with its own camera though so I don't know how that works but maybe this could help.

- SharoooniaNew SpectatorI wish there was. I really struggle with the Sims 3 camera. I didn't manage to find anything though when I searched a few weeks back.
- UlanDhorSeasoned RookieAs Karritz said, activating edge scrolling in the options is a must, at least for me. I also inverted one of the mouse axes.
