It's probably been said already, but I would move on from Sims 3 if they made Sims 5 capable of doing just about everything I can do in Sims 3 but in a 64 bit mode- which won't happen.
Sims 4 is 64 bit, but it's not even half of the game that Sims 3 is. Everything outside of your home is a rabbit hole. It's like your house is your Sims' entire world! So much of my time is spent outside of my Sim's property and I'd lose all of that in Sims 4 just to have an updated graphix engine and 64 bit. It's not worth it. I don't care what EA says in defense of this- it feels like a massive shortcut was taken to get the game on the shelves for a fraction of the development cost.
That's why I'll always play Sims 3
