In the disclaimer on the document, I made sure to note that this may not work on Macs or other OS. If you read the whole document, I noted each and every thing. And WorldCaches can be deleted. Along with thumbnails. They build up and I got confirmation from an EA Advisor on an EA Chat that this is safe to use. Don't worry :)
Also, the more files in the folder, the more it can lag according to EA Advisors. I also after doing this have not had any problems in game with anything. No lag either!
