Love Letters

Yes, I was referring to all of the adult stages, not just the one labeled "adult." Her younger sister just aged up. I'm going to check on everyone who sends her any letters or calls her for dates, and see if it happens to her too.

Their in-between brother hasn't had any letters or calls. His only brush with romance was a girl who was very attentive to him at prom, who then started going steady with a different guy the next morning. I haven't decided what to do about her being a romantic interest yet. I hate it when this kind of thing happens at prom, but it's not nearly as bad as his older sister's experience. She had one bad event after another. The only good thing that happened to her was being selected as prom queen.

It's been so long since I had a teen in the game, I had forgotten how bad prom could be, until the two of them were on their way to the school in the limo. Then I remembered, and seriously considered sending them back home.

Do they just recently become young adult? The letters could probably arriving prior those guys birthdays when they were still a teen, it never happened to my game either, and the letter I got usually addressed for my YA and up Sims.

No, they have both been young adults for awhile. She was born in the game, while they were both children at the time. However, they were both still teens at the time of her teen birthday, but not for very long after that. I suppose it could be that the game gave them the attraction to her while they were at school together, and never took it away after they aged up. I don't remember when the first letters started coming, but it's been going on for awhile. She's a little over halfway through the 28 day teen stage now.

I don't remember now, but someone who was a young adult called and asked her on a date once too, right after she aged up. I checked my mod settings to make sure teen-adult romance was disallowed, and it was. I don't understand that one either.

It could be a glitch if it only happened to that one particular sims.

If it is, I hope it doesn't mean she's broken. I really like her and want to keep her to play in a save of her own.

What about the teen/Young Adult settings? Have you disallowed that too?
