Moving older threads to Sims 3

And I just wanted to add that due to the numerous forum glitches while moving a thread mentioned above, we will wait to move some of the more popular threads until the forum is more stable, as we don't want to cause any panic if they happen to disappear for a time during the moving process. 👍🏻 (Y'all saw my panic when the What Happened in your Sims 3 Game Today? thread disappeared! 😳 I am SO relieved it came back!!)

Anyhoo, thank you all for your patience and understanding as we work on moving your suggested threads in the best time possible. 💜

SolitaryBeing  The thread errored out, no surprise given its size.  I'll try again later today.

PalmArrow  In a major upset, the household exchange thread moved on the first try.

Keep them coming, and we'll keep trying to move them.

I wanted to mention that someone got the Daily Deal thread to move.  I'm not sure who, because the site definitely told me no when I tried this morning, but it doesn't matter as long as it worked.

ZeeGee1  Your thank you thread and the old DD thread have now been moved.  As always, no idea who moved it, whether it was me (and the site just delayed its response) or another user.  But the important thing is they're moved.

To everyone here, it looks like we're collectively having some success at moving threads, so if you find more, please do keep flagging them.

Also, hot tip from EA_David:  For any specific forum, you can click the number of posts below the forum name to get a list with actual pages.  No more clicking Show More; you'll instead load 50 threads per page, with a Previous/Next button at the bottom.  It's somewhat rudimentary but works pretty well overall.  Too bad it's not available for individual threads.

The pages aren't numbered, and there's no Jump To Page X button.  But if you save the URL for the page you're on, reloading it should jump you to that same page the next time too.

I'm curious, are others that have threads stuck in this section also having issues with edits not publishing? I have not been able to have any edit I've made to my thread actually stick.

ZeeGee1 Well, I tried again, and the forum must be feeling extra uncooperative today, because none of the threads were willing to move.  I've added them to the list.

Lizzielilyy  I would put a combined TS3/TS4 thread in Franchise because it's not specific to one game, and there isn't really a perfect place for it.

The navigation menu at the top is... incomplete at the moment.  But clicking the Franchise option in the menu did open the Franchise forum for me, at least this time.  On the other hand, I've occasionally clicked a Sims thread and landed in SWGOH or similar, so maybe it's simply less than totally stable.

Thanks emorrill for trying as well, and for finding a way to get one thread to move, at least.
