My Sim is suppose to be dead but I wouldn't let him die now this happened...

So I think I need some help, my Sim was about to die from being electrocuted from fixing the dishwasher, I cheated and wouldn't let that happen so I just resetsim for him. Now NPCs will look at him and react with the dark cloud over their heads and then they'll be stuck where they're at. How can I fix this?

    Try evicting the sim in Edit Town and placing him back in his house. He'll keep his job and relationships but lose his promised wishes and opportunities.

    If the game doesn't let you evict him because there's a death happening, you may be able to fix this with mods, specifically NRaas MasterController. Click on the sim and select NRaas > MC > Advanced > Reset Sim. If that alone doesn't help either, reset him and then immediately go to Edit Town and evict the sim and place him back.
