Yeah, the more stuff that gets added to the game the longer the load time gets. It's not so much on the initial load as it is loading a town. I have some that load fast, others not so fast, then there's Fort Sim. I have to go into the other room and do something while I wait for it to load--and that's without any Sims living in it! :lol:
My computer isn't bad but it's not great, either. By now I'd hate to try to run it on anything less than I have and can totally understand why my daughter's refusing to play until she gets a better computer.
Yes, I bet you are right about the size and density of the town causing longer loading times. I haven't played other towns for quite some time and have only focused on Fort Sim, so I haven't compared. :lol: Right now it takes about 15 minutes to load.... :?
